Giuliani
Our society has reached its peak of decadence, imperialism, and corruption. By appealing to those worst excesses of the American psyche, Giuliani will get elected, and blow up the world, thus wiping our unsalvageable civilization from the map, and bringing the global order into balance. In other words, Rudy Giuliani is really Ra's Al Ghul. Discuss.
(Cue David Mizner saying Edwards is clearly Batman.)

Hey, wait, wait...don't forget:
Hillary = Catwoman (who has a love/hate relationship with Batman)
Huckabee = the Joker (a homicidal maniac with a clown-like appearance who takes comedic delight in violent crime)
Obama = The Riddler (the mastermind with a strange compulsion to challenge Batman).

...It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you.

Ah, but Ra's al-Ghul is a hardcore environmentalist. He once killed a man for feeding the wrong type of food to an endangered tiger!
Rudy would probably also have that guy killed, but probably not out of any concern for preserving a species.

Kucinich, the boy mayor = Robin, the boy wonder
Obama Girl = Batgirl
Schwarzenegger = Bane
Karl Rove = The Ventriloquist, and Bush = his dummy, Scarface
Rupert Murdoch = Rupert Thorne (mob kingpin)
Rush Limbaugh = The Mad Hatter (master of mind control)
Now, who can be Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn?

Come to think of it, Schwarzenegger actually did play a Batman character, Mr. Freeze, in a movie!

Hmm... Well Ra's Al Ghul doesn't really seem to be the run for office type, he's no Lex Luthor. However, if he did run for office I could see him attempting to crush decadence a la Guiliani and he would have the death wish for civilization. So I can buy it, although there's a bit of a difference in terms of meglomania, I'm not sure R'as rises to Guiliani's level.
LittleMac is of course correct about R'as's environmentalism. However, we could just be talking Batman Begins continuity here.
That said, Edwards actually has a caring and healthy relationship with a woman. Not very Batman-like aside from the occasional flirting with Wonderwoman all of his tend to go badly.
Finally, I've got to strongly disagree on Hillary as Catwoman. Doesn't fit at all aside from being female. I'd say Batgirl/Barbara Gordon/Oracle. Cold, calculating, assembles a team with a fair number of women, and a strained relation with Batman to boot. Unfortunately, Bill Clinton fits more as Commissioner James Gordon than sometime Barbara Gordon fling Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing, but probably best not to think too hard about that bit.

I agree with Hillary as Oracle, and nominate John Edwards as Green Arrow, not Batman.
