Cory Maye
This Cory Maye case is an outrage. I know I'm supposed to have some interesting comment on it, but what more, really, is there to say? It's terrible, and folks able to do something about it should try and get something done. I'm sure when smarter folks than I come up with a more specific plan of action than that, Angelica will have the details. Stay tuned.

she intimated that if the jury showed no mercy for Maye, God might neglect to bestow mercy on them when they meet him in heaven.
Its one thing to appeal to a sense of humanity and guilt, but to do so in the name of religious retribution? Um, yeah, don't go there.

If he does get killed, I'll bet any amount of money Nancy Grace will volunteer to pull the switch.

There is now a petition up for people express their dismay at Maye's sentencing, and their insistence on his unconditional pardon by the governor of Mississippi. Would you be willing to promote a link to the top of your blog or sidebar? Thanks to any and all for signing.
