Shakes here...

[Note: This is a bit of a deviation from the typical content at Ezra's juke joint, but it's honestly just too good not to share...]

Q: What’s crazier than a shithouse rat?

A: The woman featured in this 6-minute excerpt from Trading Spouses, which is one of the zaniest things I have ever seen! Make sure you watch the entire thing (because there’s a classic dénouement at the end you don’t want to miss).

Sheesh, this is like 10 years old in Internet time . . .

She's remosrseful but good-humoured about it: http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/archives/trading_spouses/2005_Nov_18_god_warrior_response

Yeah, this is ancient, and, I have to admit, I've felt a bit sorry for this woman ever since I saw the first promo for this episode. The "Wife Swap" people clearly decided to take a fundamentalist Christian and put her with Wiccans. Did they tell her that ahead of time, or did they spring it on her?

When "Thirty Days" sent a fundamentalist to live with gay men in San Francisco, he knew what he was getting into.

If she had been a racist who was ranting about being sent to a black family, I guess I'd have zero sympathy for her. Perhaps because her religious fervor seems like a mania or madness, I feel sorry for her.

Wow, that is about the most unhinged thing I have ever seen. Why do people agree to do these reality show? OK, never mind, I don't want to know the answer to that question.

LOL - sorry. I only saw it today. :-)

Surely this was just good acting (kinda like the fake racists on the Gerlado show back in the day)?

But very funny nonetheless..

Well everyone, she lives here in New Orleans. By no means this reflects how WE act down here. hopefully she was washed away in KItrina to another part of the world.

A model of intolerance. What a tool.

Somehow, she combined fundamentalist Christianity with campy Star Wars theology, and has cast herself as a Jedi Knight. The funny thing is, if she actually were in a Star Wars movie, she'd be a jedi who's surely on the verge of going over to the Dark Side. A fanatical, angry hatred of enemies -- even genuinely evil enemies, like Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader -- is a path to the Dark Side. So the more she fights this Dark Sided stuff, the more she sucks herself into it.

You can also check out the video in the above link. Man, that woman is nuts. Anyone catch what the dad says when the little girl comes up to him crying and they kinda bleep out a bit of what he says?
