The show takes a turn for the left:
Our source tells us that the terrorists' plan is blow up Broward Dam....This would create mass flooding, cut power to the entire state, and destroy the habitat of the tidewater goby.
Dammit! Without that goby, what will our local heron population eat?
Try not to think about that.
I can't help it! Every link in the food chain matters!
Jack punches his hand through a wall.

Um, that's pretty much exactly what Mark Trail has been doing for decades now.

Here's what I don't get. If there was suddenly a movement that encouraged personal fiscal responsibility. Let's say that we started to try to get people to save more money, spend less on non-essential goods and make the purchasing decisions wiser, would there be backlash like the that anyone who wants to do anything even remotely environmentally conscious? I just don't get it. To me, it seems acting environmentally responsibly is just good sense. Yeah, sometimes it takes changing some habits, maybe even, gasp investing a few bucks something like CF bulbs. But it's no big deal and why would anyone want to *not* do it? Why is conspicuous consumption and waste so cool?
Sorry, this make no sense to me.
Then again, little about this country makes sense to me anymore.

Of course, it's only recently that such concern about the food chain would be associated in some minds with the left.
As for the show, if we're lucky, here's what will really happen.

Isn't mocking liberal strawmen Malard Fillmore's particular brand of "humor"? I get quite enough of that 4 seconds a day, thank you.

You have to be a very serious person indeed to not laugh out loud at this. Fellow progressives! Lighten up a little, for chrissake.
