It's Not Really Clear To Me What A Blog Is For
If not to send your readers to vote for you in a media hot-or-not contest.

Oh, all right... back when I was, well, your age, you would have been my type anyway.
Kriston's kicking your ass right now in the vote, though.

But is it a good idea if sexual honesty compels me to choose Clinton Yates instead? You're tres adorable, babe, but I believe the appropriate term for Mr. Yates would be yummy.

I dunno about the rest of you but I am thinking Ezra belongs in the cute category.
I am in no way disparaging your looks Ezra but you have cute, nerd written all over you. Attractive yes, but different than hot.

Yglesias endorsed Kriston. 'Tis a shame.

Even trying to set aside my sexual bias, it strikes me that the women of DC are a lot hotter than the men.

I sort of think that's universal. Really hot women are far hotter than really hot men, or so it's always seemed to me.

ABC must be block voting, since Matt Stuart has 99/380 votes (and he looks like a dork) vs. Kriston's 86. Loyalty is like blood though, so I refrained from voting for the CQ guy.
You'd better mobilize the Prospect troops, Ezra.

Pity Yglesias' dilemma, though. It's like Rahm having to choose between Clinton and Obama.

If that Kriston guy whens this thing-- and I'm sure he's very nice-- it's clearly a sham

Jesus-- "Whens"?-- what kind of an idiot am I?

"I sort of think that's universal. Really hot women are far hotter than really hot men, or so it's always seemed to me."
Um, no. I think your sexuality is causing you to be biased. That's a myth propagated by straight dudes. Keep telling it to yourself though.

None of those guys is remotely hot. You, Ezra, however, are totally adorable.

Ezra can take solace in the fact that he was nominated and Katrina vanden Heuvel was not.

Ezra (and Garance) should definitely be winning this!
And just FYI, when you like men, you tend to think there are many more hot men than woman.

In response to the title of the post, I note that while this is, by some definitions, a blog, it's clearly the wrong sort of blog with which to fix the results of an attractiveness poll. You need an entirely different blog for that sort of thing.

Okay Boss, you've got another vote (submitted late last night before my battery went dead).
Why isn't MSNBC legal consultant Jonathan Turley in there? To my mind (and other assorted body parts), there is nothing--nothing--hotter than the Constitution and the people who love it.

Ooh, dreamy. And it looks like you can vote more than once...

In agreement w/ Noodle re: Yates's yumminess, but Ezra's the cutest by far.

Was all set to vote for you, 'till I saw Chris Carter's pic.
