Video of the Day

Via Andrew Sullivan, this video makes me very, very, happy.

If you're interested, here's more about the video's joyful dancer, Matt.

Update: And once you're done with that, it's really worth watching this response video.

The pictures on Neil the Ethical Werewolf's first page make much more sense now.

Wow, that made me SMILE! And I have to thank that wanker, Sully? What next?

you know, the pairing of the two is much stronger than either alone.

In some ways, it was the second one that made me even happier. For the pluckiness of it, and the low budget, and the larkiness, and the London-ness.

but of course it would not have made any sense without the first.

Good stuff. That is some serious travelling, and it does make you smile to watch it.

I'm not sure I'd have the balls to dance on that boulder in Norway. Frankly, I'm not sure I'd have the balls to dance anywhere, but certianly not on that boulder.

Beautiful. The first one gave me a lump in my throat. The second one made me homesick!

I was at work when I saw this appear on Headline News. I thought it was really cute, but I couldn't hear the music (if any) because the sound was off.

I haven't heard this song in years. What a perfect wonderful song. Certainly, I don't understand the lyrics, but it has such a universal sound to it. A beautiful song for a joyous video showing the wonders of the earth - natural and man-made.

After a day of depressing news about death, destruction, and hate, this video was great to see.

Thank You. What's the name of the song?

Posted by: Daryl | Jul 22, 2006 5:46:05 PM

It's a remix of 'Sweet Lullaby' by Deep Forest.
