Drop-In Day Care
I love this idea, though I'd think there would be liability problems.

Why would there be liability problems when IKEA, not to mention lots of gyms and places like that are doing this already? True, they are not doing it for profit, and that can make a difference. So make the harried parent sign a waiver.

Put one of these at a big shopping mall. It'll fly.

As a parent who sends a kid to daycare, I can think of about a million reasons why this is a bad idea.
However, I can also think of a million ways in which my circumstances could change slightly which would make this idea a blessing from heaven.
Daycares are already licensed, and communities already have and understanding of the needed logistics in running such a place, since we have public schools.

This is why I have cats. Just a quick call to the vet and voila! two cages with fresh water, food, and litter for $6 a day.

Why that gives me an idea! The KidKennel!
If only I can get some funding we'd make a million. Who's with me?
