Campaign is silly - but if they actually do pull off something similar to the XBox Media Center (the Mod only freeware) then they will have a monster. That seriously changed my attitude about consoles - I could dump movies and videos and music on my XBox via ethernet and have a whole entertainment center at my fingertips without much hassle. Of course, they woun't do anything that smart - even after the proven failure of DRM (Digital Rights Management) last year. The beauty of the Media Center was that it plays Just about ANYTHING. .MOV. .DIVX. XVID, .RM, WMP, .OGG,.....the list goes on. It could even decode subtitle files for foreign movies....they will try and control this to a fault, thereby actually causing more modding and piracy....

the new XBox will actually improve my life, though, because the spouse just got a job in the gaming industry & new hardware means new titles to sell and revenue to collect.
